Hi! I’m James, but everyone calls me Jimmy.

What’s not to love about weddings? The glitz and glamour, the laughter and the tears, the wild dance floors and heartfelt speeches, it’s all magic. Every wedding has its own vibe, and being there to capture it all is something I absolutely love.

Before I stepped behind the camera, I spent over 10 years working as a wedding coordinator right here in beautiful Byron Bay. That role taught me so much, not just about logistics, but about love, timing, and how to read the energy of a moment. I’ve seen a lot over the years, and that background has given me a real appreciation for the care, effort, and emotion that go into each celebration.

Photography came into my life through a love of storytelling and a desire to explore the world. Travelling has taken me to some pretty epic places, but no matter where I go, capturing genuine human connection is what fills my cup. My coordination experience has shaped my photographic style, I know when key moments are coming, and I’m always ready to capture them naturally and unobtrusively.

To me, photography isn’t just about snapping photos. It’s about telling your story, in your way. I approach every wedding with care, creativity, and a whole lot of heart. I want you to look back at your images and feel every laugh, every hug, and every spark of joy all over again.

This journey has been an incredible one so far, and I feel honoured to be invited into such an important day in people’s lives. I’m here to celebrate with you, to cheer you on, and to make sure your memories are preserved beautifully for generations to come.

I can’t wait to work, party, laugh, and celebrate with you.
